“Goblin vs Goblin madness! It's my first mirror match in blackbox in 41 games. Both teams have just 11 players for the game but Stonetroll's Irish gobbos are missing a troll so that's a big advantage for us.

We receive the opening kickoff and ... *KRAK* .. sniper!! Jode O'Shea is badly hurt! We take advantage of this distraction to send in a big-booted goblin and BH another gobbo on the line of scrimmage! Now we really have the advantage. Their troll responds with an angry blitz that badly hurts the DP gobbo! Later on as we try a blitz with our 2nd DP he trips on a simple dodge and BH's himself too! No more illegal fouls :P Immediately after that an opposing goblin trips and is KILLED- but their apo stitches him up. They successfully knock out our ball carrier but we have a troll and a few gobbos nearby and are able to double push one of their goblins into the crowd where he is literally torn limb from limb by the thousands of goblin fans!! We score and the fans mob the pitch, attacking the ref in their fervor!

They have 2 turns to counter score and we have one turn with no ref- we go for a no-DP unassisted foul that BH's another gobbo! We've also marked their troll so a TTM attempt wouldn't be worth it and they try for some damage instead, but a gang foul on our prone troll doesn't break through his armour.

We set up 8 vs 7 for the second half and when their goblin with the ball slips dodging away from our troll we have our chance and rush in a pile of goblins. We grab the ball and despite some great blitzes by 2 of their gobbos who free the ball twice, eventually we grab it and score. In the meantime our trolls have been punching each other and have both rolled a skull- the 2nd time it's their troll and he's badly hurt!

They set up with just 4 goblins and grab the ball moving to one side- we commit everyone to that side while rushing at the 2 gobbos at the back and they switch sides by dodging right through everyone in stunty style! We charge goblins back and eventually get a 2d blitz on the ball carrier but it's not enough to stop him and he runs in the TD to make it 2-1! Pretty amazing to score with just 4 goblins vs 9!!

The game ends with one final turn where we get our rookie troll a skill with a 3rd casualty! Hooray!
