We were happy with the victory in this one - for we faced a star-ladden goblin team. With Nobbla, Ripper and several dirty players, it promised to be difficult and it was. Gorak got a CAS on the first block of the game, and 1 assist and no assist fouls were also CAS. An early SI on Stab was apothed - and Stab proved his worth as the ref was tied up in the first half...and completely blind in the second half. While Stab did very little in terms of CAS, he did KO nearly the entire goblin team, so that gave us numbers.

We had a chance at the score at the end of the first half, but failed the 3+ pickup with RR. In the second half, a long drive cleared the pitch of the goblins and scored the winning TD. One turn left allowed the goblins a chance, but their troll was hungry and ate Gimme instead (no RR left for the wiggling free attempt).

Overall, with the lost goblin and the niggled goblin - that was 80k, plus Nobbla and Ripper is another 110k, so with 50k winnings - a net loss of 140k for the goblins. Going to be tough.
