“Our gobbos finally have a full roster of 15 again AND have hired a chainsaw! This is also our first game since aptly named troll 'I Hit Stuff' got block as his first skill. We're facing sk8bcn's pro elves. As they decide to receive we decide not to set up the chainsaw yet, fearing a 2-turn elf score before it gets going.

They gather the ball from their endzone and advance slowly, while we manage to badly hurt a +MA lineelf with our block-troll and then rush some goblins at the ball. They sidestep around our gobbos and pass to their AGI5 blitzer who catches with ease despite the little goblin beside him and runs for our endzone and scores without trouble. We have 5 turns til the 2nd half so we bring out the chainsaw!! In return the elven fans get the ref!!

The elves pour through to get at the ball and our first attack with the chainsaw totally removes their AGI5 blitzer's head!! The fans go wild until their apo sticks it back on with his Magi-Glue(tm)! However since he's on the pitch he's able to blitz down our ball carrier and catch the ball as it drops. We set up a series of moves that lets us block with 2 dice against him and roll the POW we need... then misclick on the pushback dice!! Oh no! This means they can easily score with him on their final turn to make it 2-0!

We have just got 12 players left so we can fortunately keep the chainsaw safe on the bench for the 2nd half. Our final actions of the half are a gang-foul (stun) and an attempt at throwing a goblin (never even picking up the ball).

We start the 2nd half with the goblin fans getting the ref!! Suddenly the elves have 3 big blitz targets- our DP, the chainsaw (started 1st turn) and our ball carrier! They rush in everyone bravely on the first turn, trying for the ball but unable to knock him over with 4 dice. In return the chainsaw KO's one blitzer and our block troll followed by a gang foul badly hurts the other one!

We move the ball to one side and the elves pile in after it, getting their catcher into position by our ball carrier- on our next turn he tries to dodge away to the safe arms of a troll but he slips up! The elves grab the ball and we have to do some crazy things like GFI twice with a troll to make things dangerous for them- but it's enough as they have no rerolls and fail their dodge. We then start putting in the boot, chainsaw, and troll action, eventually badly hurting a total of 7 elves and running in a consolation touchdown in our final turn.
