“Our gobbos have a chainsaw for the 2nd match in a row! This time we're up against Slaveren's undead who are missing their DP and a ghoul due to injuries.
We start up the chainsaw first time and start cutting up some undead while running the ball around and keeping them distracted with our trolls. We use our chainsaw well: KO a wight on turn 2, BH a ghoul turn 3, KO a mummy turn 4, stun the remaining ghoul on turn 5 (DP KO's him), KO the remaining ghoul on turn 6. At this point there's just 4 zombies and a mummy left and we have the ball safely by their endzone. Turn 7 the chainsaw fails for the first time, refusing to break their last mummy's armour. They then blitz the saw for the first time as we had been keeping it nicely shielded until now- fortunately they can only do it with a zombie and despite a reroll he can't knock him over. We run in the TD on our last turn after the saw fails to hurt that same zombie.
By the 2nd half 4/5 of their KOs wake up, leaving them missing one wight and only able to field 10. Our chainsaw having not been sent off takes to the field again!
Once again the saw starts 1st time- this is going to be messy! We set up a wide defence to make sure they can't score quickly or get at the chainsaw. A good first saw, stunning a key mummy lets us run players in and surround their ghoul with the ball. When they use up their turn's reroll early and then try a 1d block with the block-less ghoul and it turns up both-down we are able to catch the ball and run downfield! We have the ball safe at the back and start going to town with the saw again, until finally on turn 12 they get their 2nd blitz on nobbla this time badly hurting him on his own chainsaw!!
The game ends with a failed hand off to a rookie gobbo for a skill in their endzone. Good game Slaveren :D”
