“In this game Chet and Zak's rivalry boiled over as each one thought HE was the Greatest Rider Ever and demanded to play as solo runner.

Zak coughed up the ball in the Riders half leading to the first Imba TD and failed to register a single solid foul. He then succumed to a goat body blow leading to his unconscious removal from the pitch.

Chet smirked and realized it was up to him to show who the Greatest Rider really was. He chased down Pinchnerve the ballcarrier, and stared at him nose to snout, daring him to block him off. But the goat was unflustered. "I ignore blodge sidesteppers", he dissed, and dodged away for the TD. Chet was dumbfounded. He'd been blocked, crowdpushed, and fouled plenty of times... but ignored?? The cheek. Then later he took a shot from Quiverspite that reinjured his bad knee and threatened to end his career. The Riders fans held their breath as the apo tended to the mangled flesh - fortunately the damage was not permanent. Chet's only consolation was that Zak, unconscious, was unable to witness his humiliation.

In a separate play, Torg Steeljaw, longtime Riders Trollslayer, suffered a career ending concussion.

Will the Riders running backs learn to put aside their differences and work as a team? It seems the Riders cannot win unless they do.

Kudos to Brainsaw for a well played game and getting into the spirit of it. :)
