“Our goblins face dwarfs for the third time. We have yet to win against dwarves or even, more amazingly, manage a single casualty!! We hand over two handicaps (doom & gloom + bribe the ref) but we have a chainsaw and a 24TS advantage so despite the horrible racial matchup it looks pretty even.

We start things off with a kick that lands right in the corner of their half by the LOS. However the dwarf runner grabs it easily and they start pushing up that side. We start our chainsaw first time and get in a couple of saws but they are very ineffective and soon nobbla and 3 gobbos are knocked out and their runner has the ball by our endzone. They score on turn 5 without much trouble and the ref sends off nobbla despite him relaxing in the KO box.

We try and equalise in our 3 turns but essentially get nowhere against the dwarves.

We still have 11 players for the 2nd half and push through in force, eventually managing to dart a lone goblin for the endzone with the ball. He only has one gobbo screening him who is blitzed over (and into the MNG box) so they get a tackle zone on our ballcarrier- but it's not enough and he dodges away to score the equaliser!

With just 4 turns left each we need to stop them dead in their tracks and perhaps steal the ball- and a good troll block and some great dodging means our str3 is able 2d blitz over their ballcarrier! Over the next couple turns we are even able to steal the ball and run downfield to score the winning TD on our last turn!
