“Our gobbos have been scheduled vs dwarves for the 2nd game running. This time they are a bit stronger, packing a couple nasty MB dwarves, and we have a fanatic instead of a chainsaw. Their lone handicap is morley's revenge which afflicts 3 gobbos. Could still go horribly wrong!
They start with the ball and we start by sending Fungus the Loon barrelling into them, scattering dwarves like ninepins with unexpected effectiveness! They switch sides when one side is clogged up with bodies and we chase after them, but not before our 3str sees their MB blitzer by the sideline after Fungus pushed him there and blitzes him out of the field and into the BH box!
A rookie dwarven runner tries a 1d block on our troll (the other has been KO'd) and despite a reroll he can only find both-down ... which sees him seriously injured and our troll not even knocked over! The troll turns around and punches one of the assisters, rolling double skulls and getting KILLED! Luckily he regens- phew! They use this extra turn to push forwards but our super-dodging-goblins skip through and our str3 gobbo blitzes down the ball carrier! The ball drops into the crowd who helpfully punt it back into the centre of the pitch, hooray! This means the dwarves won't be able to score in time and the half ends 0-0 with 3 dwarves in the cas box vs 2 goblins.
Our sleeping troll sleeps on but Fungus is back out on the pitch after the ref ruled his ball n chain as 'too funny to eject'. With 2 goblins stuck in the loo from Morley's revenge it's 10 vs 9 dorfs for the 2nd half kickoff. However a good kick to beside the halfway line followed by a failed pickup lets the dwarves secure the ball and run upfield- Fungus chooses this turn to roll double skulls followed by both-downs, seeing himself seriously injured and the dwarves given a free turn!
This lets them move the ball into total safety behind a wall of dwarves where they can stall out the remaining turns to win on the final turn of the half! We try our best to cause some damage but can't get that kill we were gunning for.

Repeated injuries from skulls on both sides and the general un-dwarfiness of the dwarves in this game made it a sight to behold. The goblins dodged like madmen, assisted here and there by team reroolls, altogether with incredible success.
With one troll out and the ball and chain superstar in the SI box, the touchdown was perhaps not a spectacular sight to behold but I believe the bloodshed of the first half made the entire game an unforgettable experience. A+, would have team beaten up like this again any day.
