“Our gobbos face hermano_p's khemri who have just one RR but a nice win record. We get two handicaps, bad press & smelling salts which could both be very useful indeed.

They have only one tackler (a mummy) and two DPs like us so it's looking alright. They start well with the tackle mummy killing a gobbo with a blitz (apo saves) and then their gang foul -MA seriously injuring a troll (no regen).. ouch!

We then defend to the best of our abilities, letting them foul when they eye is on them until one DP is sent off- we then crowd around their other DP and gang foul him.. it's a casualty! But he's regenned so they will have a DP for half #2. Nobbla is doing fairly well, eventually stunning a mummy which we convert into a badly hurt with our DP on a gang foul- no regen so no more tackle-mummy! They push forwards though, eventually scoring on the last turn without ever being in that much danger.

We start the half in style, smashing another mummy out into their reserves box after it regens a BH, and then pushing up with the ball. Players are being removed by both sides using their DPs liberally, though eventually our troll seriously injures their last one (no regen) - hurrah! Unfortunately then our +STR +AGI gobbo goes for a 2d blitz versus their mighty blow blitz-ra and despite rerolling can only get both-down seeing him KILLED!!

We try our best to score, getting our best chance when our blodge gobbo sprints upfield, only reachable by a rookie skeleton.. but he's rolled the POW he needs! We have a decent chance on the last turn when we make the 5+ pickup... and then fail the dodge away! The game ends with the khemri declared winners but the goblins claiming a moral victory for almost matching them in the casualty totals!
