#6 Spastic II – Broken Ribs (MNG)
Pretty much right on from Malthor, but I would encourage everyone to view the replay to see how his first TD occurred. I have been the recipent of plenty of bad luck and seen plenty happen to my opponents, but this thing nearly made me shit my pants. Basically my first turn I ran my thrower back out of range then picked up the ball with a lino ran back to toss it to him and the lino fumbled it into the endzone(keep in mind these are 4 ag elves). His first turn he runs his 11 ma catcher to put a tz on my thrower. My 2nd turn i blitz the catcher with the lino but only push him out of the way, the thrower with runs back to pick up the ball to advance it but kicks it out of the endzone where the unruly Guardian fans grabbed it and through it directly to the shocked catcher. Fortunately this was not to be a precursor to the game as a whole as I was luckily able to forge a tie. This game was exactly what some of the admins had feared fumbbl was becoming; Beware he who rolls the most double 1's, this was Malthor in this case. As he said it started before the game with 3 niggles and continued throughout and is the only reason he did not beat me 5-1 again. This is a prime example of why teams can't and won't survive as long as in the past. I think it probably is a good thing , although admittedly I have had mixed feelings as I too have become attached to teams I have worked on. Anyway, Good Game Malthor and we'll play again soon(maybe with some rookies :) )

A bit of screw job in the end heh. I failed 3 out of 7 niggle rolls which was a huge advantage to my opponent, but the handicaps didn't help him much.

I pressured him early and managed to steal the ball and score and at half time, the score was 2-1 in my favour with me to receive.

Second half then completely belonged to my opponent with me rolling a couple of snake eyes, once on my set up drive which then ended in him stealing the ball a few turns later when I rolled more snake eyes (AG6 to pick up the ball in two tackle zones for example).

My opponent then got two blitzes on me in a row, the first he scored on, thanks to me rolling a 1 to dodge and then getting pushes on his ball carrier (and no reroll) but the second I managed to move the ball to safety where I scored the final TD of the match.

It was an extremely tough match, and it ended on a sour note for my team when my Wardancer with 124 SPP got an unwanted casualty and got his second niggling, and I got no money for the match with D6-2. My team is looking worse and worse with players aging faster than they can be replaced. With two recent players aging twice by 31 SPP too, this team's days are numbered I fear...
