“Note, luck reading out due to reload at about half time after my opponent's mouse broke and he had to reset the PC. He was obviously taking the game too seriously, why else would you smash your mouse? Heh.

Seriously though, it was a fun match. I was extremely lucky to make all 8 niggle rolls and have some very kind handicaps, the worst being Bad Press.

First half was all good luck for me, as first one of his Catchers was Badly Hurt on a dodge, then his Str 4 Wardancer was Badly Hurt by a block. I was able to use my much more advanced players to steal the ball several times and get to a 5-0 lead before deciding to field only 3 niggled players since my Apothecary had been used on about turn 3 in the first half.

That was when the pitch invasion came, and Badly Hurt one player. It coulda been really ugly as I had some nice (though niggled) players out there.

Anyway, it was a fun match as no one got any permanent injuries, and I managed to get some much needed cash for my team, and my new Catcher on 14 SPP got 17 for the match thanks to a MVP and finished with two advance rolls, one being a +1AG.

Will the Guardians ever have close to 11 non niggled players? Extremely unlikely, but 7 might be achievable with a few more games like this heh.”
