“By far the best, most fun game i've had in a long time...if not my favorite of all time.

We set up the match, get into the game and it's a blizzard. I win coin toss and choose to kick in the bad weather.

First half was kind of frusterating. 3 of my 4 rerolls were used with the same result showing, ending my turn. The snow made many of my GFI fail(what can be expected, you say? It was more than expected I say.) When Jan scored, I had 8 KO'd. Half of them woke up for my one turn "drive" before halftime. I stunned the three Jan gave me, and KO'd one on a non-DP foul. Half of the remaining ko's wake up, but still in the KO box is my 4STR catcher and my DP.

He kicked off to me...blitz! I work with it, and drive my way up the field. During the half I use all my rerolls, not knowing that I wouldn't get new ones in overtime(to be fair, though, I think I would have still burned the rerolls.) This half, I start to KO. At T6 of the second half, I've gotten all but 4 or 5 of Jan's guys off the field.

I'm stupid, I think "Oh, I'm at turn 7, so only one turn till overtime. I'll score." After scoring, I realize that...I'm stupid. Jan has two turns to score...things get stressful. Crowd's going crazy. It's awesome.

I'm sorry, Jan, but I don't think you played it properly to get the two turner. Things end up with only two of Jan's guys able to score, and both next to my players. I block them down and no score for Jan. OVERTIME!!

Overtime selects me to kickoff. I think it's now a 10 vs 8, in the Bruisers favor. Weather changes to perfect. Next turn it's 9 vs 7. I put too much pressure on the south side of the field, and Jan seizes my lack of defense up top. He's easily able to score, but tries to stall it out. I start circling guys around, and he decides he can't hold me off much longer. He scores on T4.

I've got 5 turns to score, still outnumbering him 10-8. Things look like a coinflip. He kicks and...PERFECT DEFENSE!! I get the shakes...really, my hands start shaking. The pressure is on, my bruisers have to score in 5 turns against the perfect defense. They outnumber, but have no rerolls vs Jan's 2. Things look...decent at least. I grab the ball, and pull my thrower back as far as I can without risking a GFI. I push some guys forward along the north side of the Hell-Dome. Jan's turns shows that with two go for its(gosh, it's nice to have rerolls) he can get his standfirm+blodger up against my thrower...uh oh. We bash eachother and then I have to get around to throwing. Dodge(3+) and then nice easy throw(2+ with reroll)...or throw Long Pass in a TZ(4+ with reroll...chance of intercept.)

Inaccurate Pass. Ball lands between two of players so it's not all bad. The two teams fight it out for a while and finally, on T7 I come up with the ball. Easy 2+ throw to my 4AGI blitzer...fails to catch the ball. With only my blitzer in range of scoring the equalizing TD, Jan gets a TZ on the blizer and another on the ball. Final turn of the game, I blitz the TZ on the ball away, and dodge the 4AGI blitzer away into the endzone. A simple 3+ with reroll pick up, then pass(2+ with reroll) and catch(2+.) My hands are shaking...I send the thrower to the ball. BOINK, fails to pickup. End of game.

A good game, and LOADS of fun. Now I finally get to retire all my nigglers(don't need the extra TS to get into the tourney, and I can do with losing a few matches because of lack of players.)

PS. We killed the ref afterwards for listening to Jan's arguing and then later calling out our DP, when he was needed, without the eye on us.

EDIT: And who does the MVP go to? Mr. "I can't catch an accurate pass for a TD in overtime" !! If anything it should go to TheReplacer, who's 'Pro' skill saved us at least 3 times in overtime when we were out of reroll.”
