“The Babe's tried their hand at another tournement, this time it was the Warpstone Open. After losing in the Amazon Trounement to a previous champion, and holing their own, they felt they were ready to try again.

When they drew a Skaven team that outranked them in TR and TS, they were't worried, after all, they've played plenty of Orcs and other bashy teams, but this Skaven team was different. This wound up being the bloodiest match the Babes have ever played. They suffered more casualties at the hands of the Meece then against any other opponent. Several key Fouls worked in the Meece's favor and cleared several of the Babe's best players off the pitch.

Even though the Babes had tied it up 1-1 before half time, the Meece were just too much for the Babes as their numbers dwindled in the second half.

WIth a bit more experience, and some new players after the beating, the Babes will get in some more practice before entering their next tournement, but, mark my words, they WILL be back.
