“Second round of Warpstone Open IV Qualifier VIII.
So very nearly. So very nearly. This was one of those games where luck swung all over the place.
First half I couldn't really do much, and had 4 players KOd by the half and ST6 count to deal with. I tried my best, had a 2dicer on the ball carrier and rolled double skulls :)
The TTM attempted succeeded, but I had to use a reroll on the pick up and the poor gobbo tripped while making his way to the endzone.
Second half it changed. I KOd a mummy, BH a wight and mummy for no regen and even seriously injured a zombie. By turn 5 I had the count of the pitch thanks to repeatedly putting the boot in but then Hank sprung a very good blitz which got the ball clear. I recovered it and moved the thrower into position for the equaliser, but all he needed was a push to prevent the score and he got a pow....
Really good game, hopefully the spectators would agree, and I'm pleased with my performance after being written off before the game and staring down the barrel at half time.
Best of luck in the rest of the qualifier Hank, next time gadget.....”

A fun and well played game which reroller writes a good report on the actual game. I think hiring Ripper was a good choice as he probably let my opponent dominate the bashing game which almost won the game (i think i would have had a hard time during a OT).
