“Off-season Game 4:

Hobbits United went into this rematch with the goblins feeling good about their chances...but things went south quickly and it was only some bad breaks for the goblins that allowed the hobbits to pull out a draw. A blitz to start the game made the hobbits even more confident...but snakes on the gfi and it was wasted RR and a KO. The goblins responded with a nice long pass for TD that caught the hobbits napping. With all 3 halflings in the KO box staying there, it only because the troll failed RS twice in a row that we managed to sneak past and tie it 1-1 at the half. The second half, our DT failed to stop the goblins and they got past to smoke our ballcarrier twice and take the ball upfield...they stalled, but then Omar Bradley sailed through the air and got a 1d POW with BH on the goblin ballcarrier...amazing luck that won us back the ball and preserved the draw. Increase in FF and some cash was nice. Our final off season game, the hobbits are now prepared for TR 125 Reeborc stomp!”
