#14 Barren Matthew De'Angere – Dead (RIP)
In 2 games the VooDoo showed fight for lost causes not wanting the disgrace of theiir inaugurative season of obba to be repeated the fought but witht he coach deciding that the numbers just werent there to contain the threat and the hostility of the crowd being prebvilent the war was lost but the battle could be still be won, somehow we would show our charcter and it was down to the old guard, kanu, ronaldinho and bellamy to show quick feet and move as a qoir of bellows down the wing out of reach and safe to give the travelling fans less reason to firebomb the facilities.

The Barren will be missed, a fan favourite for his work ethic fromt he very first kick off, we miss his muscle and his spirit. Samedai was quick to resort to his books after the match and may have a surprise in mind for the return of this much loved player.

With the last three matches going against them the Dead Boys needed a result and today was a breakthrough for everyones favorite deadies!

New Orleans Voodoo 1 - 2 Maharak Dead Boys

The Dead Boys certainly had the numbers in their favour but the strength of the Voodoo front line as well as the threat of vicious blitzes from the rotten Beastmen gave Halseburg cause for concern.

Thankfully the Dead Boys ever faithful fans got involved early with one of Halsburgs many brides lobbing a heavy rock straight at the Voodoos Beast of Nurgle and putting the poor chap down and out for the whole first half!

With the kickoff landing perilously close to the sidelines a Beastman swooped in for the pickup only to watch it slide from his grasp into the crowd who promptly threw the leather past the road block Alan had set up to guard it!

The Zombies shuffled in with the Wight and Ghoul in support scooping up the loose ball, after quite a few turns of tussle the Dead Boys broke free as the numbers game continued in their favour. With the desire to keep the Beast out for as long as possible the Dead Boys contained Voodoo with Price Necros even putting one plague ridden Rotter to the RIP box (who promptly returned to face his former team in the 2nd half!)

The second half saw the Dead Boys receive and this was against the remaining 6 Voodoo players. The Dead Boys rolled forwards and with Alan loosing heart took the 2nd TD without having to work too hard. With Lord Dracfel romping home to make it 2-0.

With all the hard work down the Dead Boys set up to just contain the threats and keep the team CAS free. A group of Beastmen made a break down the wing but with only a few turns left on the clock the Dead Boys felt it safe to let them claim at least something in the way of glory and focused on the core players keeping them down and out of our harms way.

It was a good game for the Dead Boys and not so great for Alan and Voodoo FC. Keep it up mate. Remember we all go through rough patches. The Dead Boys were Championship material only a few seasons ago! ;)
