#2 Sarton "The Savage" – Dead (RIP)
“Zendzabar is pleased, so pleased in-fact, that he had his team captain brought back to life after he was killed helping to secure a victory for the Chargers.
The match started out with the chargers playing solid defense, well enough to stop the elves and recover the ball. Shortly after Temda recovered the ball, he was tangled up with Sarton and went down, knocking himself out. Seeing the opening, Altorë Ranger Breeze, sprung to action and viciously sent Sarton to the pitch, from which only powerful magics would raise him up again. The swing in momentum disheartened the Chargers and the Defenders capitalized with an easy TD... taking the lead 1-0. Fortunately for the Chargers, the Defenders wouldn't touch the ball again until the very end of the game.
The Chargers managed to drive down the field and score right as the half ended, thanks to a "bend, but don't break" defense of the Defenders. Along the way, Blard happened to walk across Altorë's face... he wouldn't see the field for the rest of the game, fixing his make-up in the KO box.
The second half had the Chargers getting the ball and desperately trying to fend off the elves. Blard struck again eventually though, sending Elessar off the field with a locket of hair in his hands and a stunned look on his face, unable to speak coherently (seems Blard is an aspiring barber)... the Defender's coach, knew that he would no longer be any help to the team so he was sent to the injured reserve area. The Chargers manage to score in the final moments, once the pesky leaping elves were off the field... taking the lead with almost no time remaining.
Sarton "The Savage" is no more, he was brought back to life for much gold by a priest of Tzeentch... he lost much of his memory though and will from this day forward be known as Sarton "The Reborn".
I'm not sure how I pulled out the victory here, even with his MA 10 catcher sitting out due to niggle and only 8 elves to field. drbunny miscounted/misclicked and allowed me an easy blitz on defense... but my hobgob managed to knock himself out the following turn on a failed GFI with reroll... followed by a RIP on my team captain (failed apo too). I was really surprised that I beat drbunny, he had a pretty good game and was so close to stopping me numerous times. It seems he came up just short. Never the less, it was a very tense game and I have nothing but respect for drbunny... so much that I really hope I don't have to face him in the play-offs.”

It was going to be tough with only 8 players and facing a team that we\never beaten , and not to mention that he had plenty of MB and tackle. Amazing that we actually come out this match unscathed and wraith teams didnt. If i want to advance in the playoffs I hope i dont see u again. ”
