“Good and bad news.

After having decided not to give in to fan pressure, Eternal Reward continued as usual, now with the support of Eáránë, the new Lion Warrior. Unfortunately she got outshone buy the veteran Warrior Nienna, who really showed we she costs 20k more than most of my team. Dodging around mummies and catching what she's given, she's just awesome. She even managed to get totally (and I'm not exaggerating) caged by most of the undead team, but with a teammate dodging out to assist on one side and a teammate standing on the other, she managed to push and dodge her way out, catching the long pass from the replacement thrower (who actually managed to do something in this game) who dodged out of his own tacklezone, while my passblocker raced in between to encourage a nice play!

I mean, who doesn't love Elf Ball at this level? The crowd apparently didn't, ungrateful bastards! So they think that long passes are gay??? Well, in that case we are gay, and they are just a bunch of clumsy humans, who might as well join the undead team. Apparently they did exactly that after the match....

Unfortunately they weren't the only ones to do so. Due to a coaching error on my part (using the apo on an ordinary SI during the start of the second half) my poor Mablung Carnesìr left the world of the living on the very next turn. I did it, because I thought the player important for my drive, but still I'm to blame.
Some lessons are very expensive to learn, and I guess I just had mine.

The Undead coach proved a good sport and promised to take good care of my poor Mablung and develop him into something other than a cheap throwaway blocker. He used to be an Elf aftert all, and surely he must remember something.

Apparently the Stadium owners didn't like Elf Bowl either, and for the 4th time I got minimum winnings. Bah, if he doesn't like proper Ball playing, he ought to join the Undeads too alongside his good-for-nothing spectators!

My opponent played a good game, and I really had a fun match. Thanks for the game, and I look forward to facing Mablung on the field of BB and get some class-act opposition :)”
