“Awesome match!
After 7 double skulls until mid half 2 it was nearly impossible for the woodies to win.
On turn 2/2 at the dark elf kick-off it began to rain.
A missed pass on turn 4/2 made at a standing of 1:2 did the rest i thought
The Dark Elf Thrower picked up the ball and was protected by a few blitzers while
another blitzer stood next to my catcher who had waited for the pass.
A Dark Elf Lino ran towards the woodies endzone but the thrower did not pass because the dark elves had no more rerolls.
But then the woodies luck striked back.
2 Wood Elf Linemen went to the blitzer to support a blitz by another blocking lino who knocked the thrower down. The ball fumbled next in only one dark elf tackle zone. The Wood Elf Thrower stood up, dodged out of a tackle zone picked up the ball dodged again and passed the ball to the man-marked catcher at the endzone. There was the tie!!!
Now they had to try to stop the touchdown of the darkies.
All Dark Elf Blitzers rushed towards the wood elf endzone.
Then one of his throwers failed a pick up and the wood elves smelled the chance. They had to do some sprints to make a 2d blitz on the other thrower who catched the fumbled ball.
But again the snake eyes on the first sprint destroyed my plan.
Only 2 rounds left for both...
The dark elf thrower saw the free blitzer waiting for a pass. He ran towards him, threw a short pass.
The Blitzer thought they had already won i think. Maybe he was at the after-bowl party yet, but he missed the catch with that wet ball.
The rest is only history. Just watch it!

Finally I can say: I was really lucky.
Thanks for the game! We have to play a rematch for sure :)
