“Well the lizards tried hard in their first premier match but starting with 10 lizards against 15 chaos dwarves was never going to be easy. Aouoedllphss was so worked up for the match that he was practically invulnerable (good thing too, iron man avoided 4 injury rolls by my count). Zen Adepts ground out the first half after winning the toss and scored a couple of turns before the half. A short pass and dash down the side had lizard hopes up, but needing 3 dodges Aouoedllphss was tripped on the first and the half was over at 1-0. By this time season 2 hero Qnchdooieoe was back in the dugout along with the only skilled saurus leaving 8 lizards to try and force a comeback. They fought on, but were unable to break through and lost the ball. Some viciousness from Thrudst helped put the numbers back towards even and they pressured the attacking adepts, but had to watch as Daito wove through the defence and over the line to make it 2-0. A bad kick made for a swift return to attack for the lizards, but again their short numbers were overwhelmed and the ball spilt free. Some consolation was found though as in the 8th turn of the second half, Tlshnt broke free, scooped up the ball and stumbled over the line to bring the scoreline back to 2-1.

Not a bad first showing from the newly promoted lizards who displayed some great resilience but just fell short with some unfortunate rolls and being plain outmatched.”
