Softfooted Imperial Elves of Altdorf score 2 - 1 against Chaos warband, but who pays for burials?

Marienburg. Altdorf Strangers know how to fight, but they lack stamina. The stadium cryes as the Chaos Brothers rise frome the Wastes to challenge this new-born team from Altdorf's Elven Ghetto. The match starts with an Elven downfall: Chaos brothers score two hits. The former is 1 - 0 at third-fourth round, while the latter is an Elf drowning from his own blood. Thankfully, the Apothecary intervenes with severe looking and wise thinking: a hypodermic of adrenaline and the man is still in play.
After a few missed block, Salenor Swift's man (that's their coach's name) begin to realize they're not sleeping on their couches, but they're already in game! A swift passage, a few well set blocks and the man goes for it. 1-1.
It takes Chaos Brothers too much to wake up from their glorious dream: blitzer breaks the centre of Minotaur's wall, leaving it howling on his own. He reaches the line, but an horned guy is aiming at his head. The blow is giant, but he's pushed roughly after the line and scores his second beat.
Elves try for a third smash, but their effort end in a wierd way: a man pushed outside by a hungry beast and a ball that runs allover the field. It does a passage, the answering lad catches it in his irony fists, but when it's time to give it back to the speeding goat, the Elves are on him. He loses the ball, he's pushed backward and the Elven Thrower tryes for a long passage. The beast grabs it when it's falling downward to the second Catcher, but a kick on the stomach tells him how to deal with hache. The ball is still alone while another goat goes for it: nothing to be done - was that so oily?
The match ends with a kick over Chaos line, but the Elves lack enough nerves for a last attempt. They run, but they know time's gonna stop. The arbiter whistle the war's end just a few moments before the 3 - 1.
Was it worth the effort? One nearly-dead man, a dead one and a twisted anckle are the stake for kicking Chaos back to its lair.”
