“With much kafuffle on the pitch between the teams as to where they were positioned and where the ball was before some silly sod (rumour has it was Nukb Madbone as he sat out due to his niggling injury from a virus) turned off the lights, the game between the Nard Harpies and the Grizzlebeard Crag Crushaz finally got momentum and got under way.
The Nard Harpies record against dwarves has been terrible (0/0/2) and they didn’t go into this match with a great deal of confidence. Game plan, keep the goblins from being hit and hope the Ogres can hit harder than the 4-foot stocky little bastards.
Unfortunately the Ogres were hitting but not hitting hard enough and the dwarves were hitting well also but again not hard enough. This match saw the Ogres bone head karma catch up with them, as they had played fairly well all season but the bone heads this match were quite numerous compared to other matches.
The goblins on the other hand were dodging and picking up the ball like crazy little sticky fingered green nards. If the Ogres had all pulled weight then the Nard Harpies could’ve come out of this with a win.
No one knows whether Xtag Greatbone badly hurt, killed or knocked out the Troll Slayer but it’s going down on the record as a kill. He put his foot down twice in the game to secure his second consecutive bronze boot, but it’s not over yet with one more regional match to be played out.
No fans were gained due to the fact that there was no infamous throw team mate touch down play from the Nard Harpies.
Rumour has it that the Nard Harpies could be heading to the conference division for season XXIX.
The dwarves did some amazing -2d blocks on the Ogres, 3/3 where I had no choice but to choose a POW hit.
Two skill ups, with Nukb Madbone receiving the MVP for sitting on the bench got Diving Tackle and Librux Kromprii got Multiple Block as he is now the number one casualty machine for the Nard Harpies.

2 - #7 Librux, the only legitimate cas of the Ogre team and early on, so it really helped set up a somewhat dominant first half.
