“On a nice day in front of 88,000 Nordic Fans, the Berserkers battled S.o.D. in round one of the Norse XFL Tournament '09.

As S.o.D. kicked off to start the game, the Berserkers quick snapped. The two teams battled back and forth and S.o.D. was able to get the ball away from the Berserkers as they failed numerous times to pass the ball for a touchdown. Berserkers Minotaur Horor was fouled and seriously injured, niggled but the apothecary saved him. S.o.D. had a chance on turn 8 to score but failed a go for it. Half ended in a tie 0-0.

As the Berserkers kicked off to start the 2nd half, they were awarded an extra team reroll. The Berserkers catcher Hjalti was fouled and died. The Berserkers Minotaur Horor, broke away and blitzed S.o.D. Ogre and died on a p/s. Berserlers Blitzer Asbrandr on a desperate move, blitzed S.o.D. Str 4 Blitzer and 1db POW, Killed. But S.o.D. over came a fireball and the death of their blitzer and were able to score on turn 8 to go up 1-0. As S.o.D. kicked off, they blitzed. Whistle Blew and game ended 1-0 S.o.D.
