As enjoyable as it is to play against very good coaches this had to be one of the most frustrating games I have played in a while. I felt like I played well but the game ended in a classic 2-1 loss with my FF going down. I am sorry for a couple complaints about the dice as this has been a rather frustrating time for me as a coach.”

Handicap of I Am the Greatest was nasty, keeping a Block BOB on the bench all match, and a second BOB was niggled out!
First half was a nailbiter, with the Boyz offence shattered with the Dwarves pulling off two one dice Pows to knock the ball free.
The first half was a tense battle as the Boyz recovered the ball (and lost it again before regaining it?) and finally managed a pretty lucky score.
Second half saw the Boyz kick off, but get a Blitz! They pressured the ball but the Dwarves were too good and they recovered the ball and controlled the entire pitch as Boyz were down and isolated all over the ground (I had a one dice Blitz on a skill-less Gobbo, and rerolled it from a Push to a Skull and it was all over).
The Dwarves could have ground out a 1-1 draw, but chose to score halfway into the second period to try and force a win (and make for a more fun game).
The kickoff started with a rock stunning a Hobbo, and the Boyz got a casualty and a few stuns with their blocks to create a commanding position.
However, the Boyz squandered this when they took the risky move of using the ball carrier to blitz a stand firm Chaos Dwarf who didn't go down on 4 dice.
The Dwarves applied the pressure, and with great play knocked the ball free.
The Boyz were able to pick it up and run further downfield, but some blocking and pushing led to a situation where the Dwarves could set up a one dice GFI GFI blitz to attack the ball carrier and once more the ball was freed!
With seconds remaining, the Boyz were able to scoop up the ball once more and run home 2-1 winners.

What a game. First half was so so tough with my opponent combining great play with some fortuitious one dice pows to really put the pressure on.
I had the important luck though at the end of the half when I got my own one dice pow to run in the TD.
Tiredness set in after half time, and I played a bit erratically, eg not seeing a 5+ dodge....
My opponent was schooling me from turns 2-4 and it would easily have been a draw if he wanted it, but he was a great sport and scored to make the game more fun for both of us.
Some luck on my part (3+ dodges and the casuallty) gave me the advantage to steal a win in a match which in all fairness should have been a draw.
Anyways, congratulations to my opponent for a well played and sporting match.”
