A tough match against an excellent coach.

The Amazons started in offence and started slowly, having little effect in advancing the ball. They pushed forward at last, only to retreat and push it back down the other wing.

During this play, the Amazons coach who was very rusty after an 18 month layoff got his team into trouble by letting their Str4 Blitzer get chainpushed and then shoved into the stands (stun only luckily).

A pass to an AG4 NOS Catcher who dodged a DT defender was enough to effect a score about halfway into the opening quarter.

The High Elves lined up in offence and quickly penetrated into the Zons backfield, keeping their Lion Warriors well shielded. They advanced to set up a score, only for their passer to fail a GFI and lose the ball!

The Amazons recovered the ball, fired a quick pass and ran in a score.

Aware of a possible one turn TD reply, the Amazons set up most defenders deep, but should have blocked the chain pushes instead. In any case, the High Elves managed to pull off one of the most bizarred one turn push TDs ever seen as they blocked their own chain push path and made it much harder than it had to be.

With the scores at 2-1, the Zons kicked off at half time and again the High Elves penetrated easily (I really need that Ogre back in the middle of the LOS!). The Elves pushed forward and scored easily to level the scores.

The Amazons lined up for what they hoped to be the final drive and they started to get the momentum as they started to outnumber their opponents.

The Elves played vailiant defence but couldn't KO/injure any opponents and were too outnumbered and were unable to stop the winning score at the end, though they tried very hard (they managed to pull off a 5+ dodge to two dice my Ball Carrier but came up with only pushes even with rerolls!

This is the second time I have played Rami, the first time was August 2007! I had great fun today and Rami played extremely well to keep me under pressure. If not for some bad luck with his failed GFI, the first half would have likely been a 1-1 draw making the victory very unlikely.

Anyways, I look forwards to playing Rami again, he is an excellent and cheerful opponent and also a great sport.

#11 Det Er Fordi Det Er TV – Dead (RIP)
I gotta admit, although being sort of bummed about the result and the loss of a potential super player, I had alot of fun and really enjoyed playing Malthor.

Thanks a bunch for the cool game report and I'm very pleased u had such a nice comeback

cu on the flipside !!
