“Burlesque Beastman Brawl - Season 2

Anubis + co are up against Synn's Hores for the first game of season II. They went 6/1/0 in the group stages last season- a difficult opponent! We get one handicap, illegal drugs, giving +STR to our guard beastman. However our claw-beastman niggles out so we have just 11 for the game!

They start extremely well, their first DP foul killing our +MA sure hands beastman. In return we niggle one of their rookie beastmen but get our DP sent off! They then proceed to smack us around, securing the ball and eventually scoring on turn 8. We've managed to SI two more of their beastmen, including a niggling on their DP which saw their apo fail. They've MNG'd one of our rookies in return. The second half whistle sees their KO wake up while neither of ours does, leaving us kicking with 6 vs 10. Going to be painful!

And in fact it turns out to be very painful as we're reduced to 4 by the time they score with ease on turn 4 to make it 2-0. They've also -STR injured our drugged up guard beastman. We have 6 again, and try to push forward, or at least hurt something but they smack us about and get the ball forward for another skillup and 3-0.

We have one turn left so we go for a few more blocks with our first blitz turning up both-down. When the dust settles our MB beastman's ok but their guarder is DEAD DEAD DEAD!

Good game Synn, we were comprehensively beaten there. Going to be difficult to get back into shape with our next few games too..
