#4 Petey – Dead (RIP)
A brutal game and a tough prospect for the Cadavers who had more developed Wolves, but whose Golems were a shadow of what Sleeper in Metropolis possessed. Sleeper also had a gazillion Guard to the two on the Cadavers team.

The Cadavers started in offence, and kept the ball back behind the line of scrimmage.

Sleeper pushed forward sending the awesome Fleshy Steven towards the ball carrier. The Cadavers downed him and fouled him to death and he failed his Regen!

Sleeper retaliated and fouled a Cadavers Wolf to death, but their spirit was broken. Although they played great defence with their Guard players crowding the Cadavers, they were unable to stop the Cadavers Str4 Wight from scoring a TD.

With 2 turns left to reply, Sleeper shielded their Werewolf 10 out from the end zone. The Cadavers threw a Flesh Golem up against the Wolf, then another Flesh Golem behind him, and blocked up the remaining hole by throwing a Wight into the mutliple TZs where he did his job perfectly by being tackled (if he was downed, he couldn't be easily pushed or blitzed out the way).

The Sleeper managed to down the Flesh Golems, but then their pathway to the endzone was blocked and they were unable to score.

In the second half, Sleeper were monstrous, causing multiple injuries, KOs and stuns. Despite only having 5 or 6 players left on the pitch, the Cadavers were able to knock the ball free with a 3+ dodge, 2 GFI and a 1 dice Pow.

Both teams fought for the ball, but thanks to Sleeper fouling and getting sent off, there was room for the Cadavers Str4 Sure Hands Wight to blitz his way to the ball, pick it up in 2 TZs and dodge away!

Sleeper chased him, but were unlucky not to knock him down with Frenzied 2 dice blocks. Lord Soth (the Str4 Wight) made a 4+ dodge, blitzed down a Zombie and ran further (2 GFI) leaving Sleeper with a 1 dice blitz (with Frenzy) and little chance of returning the ball up the other end for a score.

The blitz came up push, push, rerolled to Skull and Lord Soth ran in a 2nd TD to seal the match.
--------------
A very tough game for both of us. Kenty is a stalwart and his team is legendary, so I am very saddened that he had a crap time.

In the second half, I was completely manhandled by this multiple Guard players as my team disappeared from the pitch. If not for the foul (the DP could have blocked my path to the ball) I would have never gotten that lucky passage of play togeether to get that lucky TD, but I probably would have fouled the Wolf too.

Anyways, I hope Sleeper in Metropolis recovers and continues on its legendary path to 1500, 2000 games.
