On a nice day in front of 62,000 fans the Berserkers battled Elven Glory MK II.

As the Berserkers kicked off to start the game, the Elves quick snapped as the kick went out of bounds. The Elves moved down the field quickly and scored on turn 3 to go up 1-0. As the Elves kicked off the Berserkers quick snapped. The Berserkers were able to protect the ball and scored on turn 8 to tie the game as the whistle blew to end the half at 1-1.

Beefysworld lost connection on his turn 7 and when reloaded we found e had a ghost Norse player Bersi who I moved off to the side as he couldnt see him.

As the Elves kicked off to start the 2nd half, the Berserkers quick snapped. The Berserkers were able to Ko some elves making it a bit easier but it is never easier with elves no matter how many of them. The Berserkers scored on turn 4 to go up 2-1. As the Berserkers kicked off the fans invaded the pitch stunning one player on each side. The Berserkers were able to defend their side as they outnumbered the Elves. Blitzer Asbrandr was able to blitz the Elves catcher and get the ball only to get killed on the next turn, but the apothecary worked his magic and Asbrandr is back with the team ready for another game, which is a good thing as it seems he likes to handle the ball alot, 22 of my 28 Rushes. Game ended 2-1 Berserkers.

Thanks for game, rematch anytime.

Lineman Kolli learned how to tackle and the Berserkers purchased the contract of a Norse Catcher, Hoth.

Game had an error in the match report which the admins fixed.

#16 Reservian – Smashed Knee (NI)
Elven Glory (MK I and II) were never big fans of the sturdy Norse teams, but throwing caution to the wind they took on the challenge.

The game started off well for both sides, quick snaps being handed out like pies at a Halfling match. The Glory didn't seem to be able to pull off their normal speedy game, though it was good to see Cyprus getting to move around for a change. He lost a few branches towards the end and will need a week to recover, but he'll soon be back to add that bit of power to the Glory side.

Very well played by MightyQuinn, enjoyed the game thoroughly. The ghost Bersi was a little interesting (I couldn't see the player, so his presence didn't influence my turns), but the dwindling numbers by the end of the match was my downfall. Came out of the game with a few injuries, so I hired the talent of my first Wood Elf thrower and the mighty wardancer Aeliderin managed to get a bit more spring in his step too (nice little MA+)

Definitely will take you up on that rematch, only as soon as I can match the Blocking power of the Norse.
