Handicaps were:

Morley's (affected 1 player on 2 drives?)
Virus (AG5 Leap Blodge Tackle Sidestep Witch out)
Duh Where Am I? (didn't work once all game)
Bribe the Ref2
Iron Man (on Str4 Frenzy Mighty Blow Block Sidestep lino)

The Falcons started in offence, and a Perfect Defence and some early jitters (used RR early on a GFI, and then failed a 2+ pass) left them under pressure as the Trees rushed forwards towards the ball.

However, Zendarik Bloodfury (AG5 Sure Hands etc) was able to scoop up the ball in a tackle zone and pass it safely downfield where the Falcons eventually scored, but not before the Trees burned some rerolls too with some ordinary rolling.

On the Trees drive, the Falcons were able to exploit some bad luck by the Trees (an early snake-eyes dodge) to steal the ball and stall until T8 to score. Disaster struck the Trees when their Wardancer was killed on a block and he could not be saved as the apoth had been used on him earlier on a -MA which would have been much better than death.

The Trees were down 0-2 and played well to chainpush their MA10 Catcher over the line of scrimmage, but he was unable to make the necessary dodges past Tacklers (4+, 3+, 2+ dodges, and also 2 GFI) to narrow the margin.

In the second half, the Trees started in offence and despite being under some pressure, were eventually able to catch a long bomb in the end zone (AG5 and accurate) to bring the margin back to 1 TD.

Both teams scored another TD in the half, but the Trees were mauled furhter in the process with a rookie Lino taking a niggle, and a second getting killed on a T16 block by a benchwarmer on the Falcon's roster.
-------------
A challenging game, with both teams lack of tackle making it interesting. However, my casualty dice were amazing today and that helped immensely with a Wardancer with Strip Ball and Tackle removed to take some of the defensive pressure off.

lawman was a good sport and I hope his team recovers and we can have another match sometime.
