“Our gobbos face JoeMalik's 1-game humans, giving them two handicaps: Virus (wasted) and Buzzing (blitzer).

We kick and they move the ball up one side. We manage a 2d blitz on their thrower with 3 gobbos but can only push him back, and the following turn he dodges and passes upfield to a lineman. We charge after him with a max range blitz from our block gobbo Gimp.. but he trips and knocks himself out! Luckily we have two gobbos marking him, including a DT/SS so he can't run on and the following turn we're able to swarm more gobbos in, knocking the ball free and then grabbing it for one brief turn. A rookie gobbo also KILLS their thrower with a 1d block - though their apo saves him!

Things have now devolved into a big old fashioned brawl near the ball (with both our trolls on the far side of the pitch and mostly not involved) - the humans can't get at it, but they are doing well at knocking us over every time we pick it up. Finally on the last turn of the half we have a decent chance with things going well until the final dodge trips over our gobbo before he can handoff for a touchdown!

Gimp fails to wake up so no DP for the 2nd half though it's still 11vs11 and 0-0.

We spend our first two turns failing to pick up the ball and it's now in the middle of the pitch surrounded by almost every player from the two teams. Eventually the humans are able to bounce enough goblins onto it that it spills out to one side. They grab it and despite us initially getting good blitzes in at the ball carrier it soon all falls apart as our gobbos get KO'd and cas'd out in droves while our trolls are once again in the wrong place. They easily push through and stall out the last couple of turns before scoring the winner on their final turn.
