“Grand Design chose to receive first but after a failed block on their team's very first move (double skulls), Aravan was unable to pick up the ball (1). Guard Duty responded and took advantage quickly with the USAF Computer Badass blowing a hole through the High Elven lines. The Witch Elf, Shuttle Pilot, ran up to the ball and snatched it from the ground putting Grand Design in a bad situation. Aravan attempted a block on her but she managed to side step away from him. Frustrated, Coach Nathaniel "Wishmaster" Knyte, ordered his team to "surrounded the wench."

Coach Kondor saw that his player was in deep trouble so he chose to hand the ball off to the Blitzer, Jolly Green. He could have made it in the end zone but his Coach erred on the side of caution. Once again, the Wishmaster had his players surround the Dark Elf ball carrier after a failed attempt to knock the ball loose.

Jolly Green tried to break through his tacklers but failed to budge him and ended up getting taken down himself. The ball bounced right next to the sidelines where Aravan picked up the ball and ended up going the length of the field for their team's first touchdown.

A near scare before the end of the first half almost had the High Elves scoring again thanks to Edge sidestepping his way into the Dark Elven backfield. A failed pickup ended the slim shot to Coach Kondor's relief.

The second half begun and Grand Design kicked the ball next to the left sidelines. Aravan and Kensai quickly put pressure on the DE QB, Top Gun. Guard Duty had their receivers on one side of the field hoping Grand Design would bite and it almost worked. After a misdirection play, Right Ranger, the lineman caught a pass from Top Gun and made a run for it. Laranis was able to catch up to him and bring him down with the assist from Eraldryn coming all the way across the other side of the field.

Right Ranger, stood back up and tried to make up for his mistakes. He threw an accurate pass to USAF Computer Badass, but it was knocked loose by the two High Elven players defending him. Lathander picked the ball up and threw an accurate pass of his own right to Kensai who easily caught it and ran in their 2nd touchdown of the game.

Grand Design kicked again and Edge was taken out by a foul for being too close to the DE ballcarrier, Commando. Caught up in the euphoria of finally taking the annoying Lineman out of the game, Commando failed to drop back. Elbereth and Eraldryn blitzed the ball carrier and sacked him in the backfield. The ball was fumbled but Top Gun was able to recover and get the ball out of danger by throwing a short pass to the Blitzer, Stealth.

Stealth made a break for it but he was taken down by the relentless players of Grand Design. Amaranth scooped up the ball and handed off to Eraldryn who ran in the final touchdown of the game as time expired on the clock.

Good game, Kondor!! Fun game as usual. I had some double skulls there at the beginning but then on the second half you had some bad luck. Rematch anytime, mate!
