“Kondor met coach MonkeyMan at midfield and congratulated him on a well coached match. This was a match that easily could have gone either way. In fact, upon taking the second half kick, Kondor was so desperate, he called play 63. No one ever expects play 63 because it never works.

The She Hulk plucked up Bill Bixby, thought about eating him, then tossed him perfectly down the field. Bill nearly ate astro-turf, but he regained his balance just enough to stumble into the endzone for the score.

This only seemed to annoy the rats, and MusicAndMirror looked more like smoke and mirrors as he easily scored the equalizer.

At this point, Kondor was certain his team would not be able to hold on to the ball, but incredibly, the trolls stepped up and were the muscle they are suposed to be. First the Incredible Hulk dropped the hammer on the rat ogre one, sending him out with a serious niggling injury. Then the PMSing She Hulk took it out on poor little Kim with a nasty overhead chop that cleaved the little gutter runner in two. In a matter of seconds, the playing field was leveled.

The remainder of the half was a slow grind as the goblins caged up looking for a final scoring opportunity. It came in the closing moments as Haughty blasted Mark out of the way to dodge in for the winning score.

As Kondor returned to the locker room, he contemplated what had happened. One missed dodge by the ball handler or a poor block by a troll would have reversed this match. Indeed, Nuffle has been good lately.
