“A one sided mauling as the Nightmares removed two players early (cas from block and a KO from a foul) and then continued to remove players with blocks and fouls. The ref was blind as the Nightmares fouled several times with the Eye on them.
With 80% luck for most of the first half, the Nightmares were able to recover the ball after losing it (with a -2 dice block double Pow first off to open up the hole) momentarily and then score at their leisure.
In the second half, the Brigad only had 5 or 6 players, but managed a 2 turn TD after 4 dice of Blitzes failed to knock the ball carrier over. A 4+ dodge, 4+ dodge, 3+ dodge and 2 GFI later, the Brigad scored an equaliser, though not before having a player SI MNG from a thrown rock.
With 7 turns to reply, the Nightmares herded the few Brigad players and bashed and fouled them whilst taking the time to skill up an AG3 Hobbo by passing with him, and then trying to have him catch the ball back (he was on 3 SPP after the pass) to score the winning TD.
--------
A very lopsided match, and understandably my opponent didn't enjoy the match, getting outnumbered and then fouled to oblivion, but at least there were no permanent injuries.”
