The Packrat started in defence and allowed a quick score by the Falcons after leaving both sides ot the pitch wide open.

On the Packrat drive, some bad luck saw them turn over the ball (a snaked dodge or GFI?) and the Falcons swooped on the ball, and delayed scoring until late in the half, but not before causing a -Str on a Block Foul Appearnce Line Rat after Packrat used their apoth on a -MA on a Claw Linerat on the same turn.

Packrat did not attempt a OT TD despite having a couple of MA11 players, instead focusing on getting SPP for their Str4 Thrower.

In the second half, Packrat had a ball handling error (might have been snakes?) allowing the Falcons to swoop and eventually take steal the ball for a third TD.

On the final drive, Packrat had and lost the ball, but made a 4+ dodge, 4+ pickup and 3+ dodge to get a short pass TD attempt but the pass was fumbled! The Falcons recovered the ball once more to run out 4-0 winners.

Thanks to Vanguard for challenging me even though he had little chance of winning with only one Tackler and no intention of scoring OT TDs with his awesome Gutter brigade.

Instead Vanguard was focussed on skilling his Str4 Thrower, and also hopeful of skilling his 29 SPP FA Line Rat. Some bad luck for him turned the game into a blowout. If not for the couple of snakes with ball handling, it might have been a closer affair.”
