This was a much much harder match that I thought it would be. The Lizards have a good spread of skills, including a pesky blodge skink who proved nigh on impossible to budge. The odds were stacked in my favour but Nuffle figured the walking handbags needed a hand. The Lizards luck didn't extend to breaking the Orcs armour otherwise I'm convinced they'd have won this, whereas my 2nd td relied on a rerolled gfi to score - I simply stopped knocking the Lizards down, even with 3 dice blocks.

In the end am grateful for the narrow win but know for sure that the Lizards, with a full roster, would have won this one.

With no more injuries, a full squad potentially next time, and a decent coach in Oldfella who made the best of his depleted team, it can only be a matter of time before their fortunes turn about.

Best of luck with them - My orcs today knew they were in a battle, and although any win is good, they worked far far harder for this than any of their previous ones as far as I recall.

Tough skinks!
