The chaos dwarves were angry at this. With the only fit bull getting pushed off the field - but unhurt by the fans - a blocker tried to exact revenge for his the savage foul on his troll. He jumped on a prone warrior, bounced off it's armour, and knocked over the referee who had no choice but to send off the blocker. With the referee distracted, VVV ganged up on the exposed super hobgoblin c-3po, hauled him down, and fouled him, Persistance smashing his hand so badly the apothecary couldn't find all the fingers.

Now Coach Gramiglo and the Deadfull Droids were up against it. 100spp fouled off the field, a blocker sent off, and soon another hurt in a block, it was starting to look very one sided. They are made of stern stuff though, and managed to hurt the nimble warrior Titan and knock out the troll and a couple of beastmen. After VVV scored, nobody made it out of the knock out box. After the restart for the second half, just a lone beastman had recovered enough to rejoin the field of play. There was a shred of hope for Gramiglo.

It didn't last long, as star bull centaur Battledroid quickly joined the troll and c-3po in the injury box, although his was less severe.

During the melee from which VVV would score their second, the crumpled body of Cometh the Hour was left lifeless on the pitch. Coach Chainsaw had sent for the apothecary, but he had gotten distracted looking at the mangled fingers of c-3po and discussing the solution with his counterpart. By the time he reached the beastman, there was no way to revive him. The apothecary was promptly fed to the Pritchard the troll who appreciated the tasty snack.

Despite the beating the chaos dwarves were taking, still only a single player made it back from the knock out box for Vinco Vici Victum. However, with plenty of skill and strength amongst the chaos players on the field, there was little their shorter and less skilled opponents could do, and giant warrior Eye of the Storm would hurt two more players as VVV secured their 3rd for a comfortable victory.

It's just a shame about the beastman! Damn useless apothecaries...”
