Good win for the Buccaneers to continue the solid start to the season.

This game started out as 12 on 8 and looked like being an easy win..... but then Nuffle show that he can give, and he can take.

The handicaps were "morleys revenge" (on a blitzer and ogre) and "I am the Greatest" (on block guard lino and block, strip ball tackle blitzer) - as a result it was 10 on 8 to start the game. And with no casualties or even KO's by the humans on the Elves, and with morley hitting both players second half, plus BH human it was 8 on 8 at half time.

So Nuffle gave.... then he took away.
Elves had 2 turns to score at end of first half. Not an easy chance (short pass AG4 to AG4, then 2+ dodge and 1 GFI) but not the hardest thing ever. It was thwarted by an intereption......
Then second half the elves started well and took the ball wide with the wardancer breaking into open field only to fail a re-rolled GFI for Serious Injury. Humans picked up the ball and after some good defense scored.
Then off the kockoff the elves failed the pickup; humans swarmed around and the human catcher picked it up and ran in to score.

Nuffle taketh away......

3pt: #10 Pickled onions: 10 blocks - 2nd highest blocks in the game, and a casualty. Good work rate for a pansy elf.
2pt: #8 Biscuits: one small block, a few steps with the ball and a pass. He nearly broke a sweat but in the end showed how elves should play this game - with their hair and make-up neat and tidy.
1pt: #2 Marmite: consolation vote for the wardance who never got to taste the sole of my DP's boot.

Another good game. Solid play from Greg pushed the boundries of what 8 Elves can do, regardless of kick off rolls or nuffle. Really there shouldn't be a limit to what these little guys can achieve, but apparently that's not the case.

Twahnlows:

3 - Pirate Conroy, the fastest catcher (and interceptor) in the west.
2 - Guideon the Dagger, got the early TD in to put the pressure on.
1 - Comedy "Jumbo" Harvey option, he was a good roadblock in his first game, despite missing a drive.
