#13 Seeker – Smashed Knee (NI)
An absurd dice rape as I got reduced to a handful of players by the end of each half. Even so, even with the rubbish dice I was generally rolling, it was my team that nearly scored at the end of each half and DevilYoung can consider himself lucky to have drawn. He should review this game to see where he went wrong in allowing me space to operate on several occasions when he should have shut me down.

Yet again, as seems common for my team, I had to play the majority of the game without an apothecary.

The game opened with a get the ref for VVV. I gang fouled, stun. He blitzed, niggled a player, and the apothecary failed. I gang fouled, stun. That was the pattern of the first half as he took out my team and I took out, well, only 1 player although fortunately a good one (123spp).

The second half went from bad to worse. Most dwarf knock downs passed armour, resulting in a lot of stuns, knock outs, and injuries. Still, by the end of the half, Pritchard was doing a good job occupying 4 dwarves with little help, giving me at least some options. I made an excellent play, fouling the annoying troll slayer (who'd been hurting my players all game) and stunning him, forcing DevilYoung to backtrack and he did so into trouble.

Aeternus Eternus slipped a marker, hit the dwarf runner, and knocked him out. The dwarves were caught out of position. All I needed was to move the other runner, which I did, and Aeternus Eternus only needed to scoop up the ball for victory. Wet weather, I failed a pick up for the nth time (I'd failed about 5 or 6 pick ups, consuming most of my rerolls) and that gave the dwarves time to get back and save the draw.

Even after that I still forged another opportunity with a 1d blitz on the ball carrier (which should not have been allowed) knocking hi down, however it was less likely and the dice left me again.
