“With by far most lizard games on the site under my belt XFL Liz was always the title I wanted the most. Last years lost semi, lets call the game unlucky, with the best team in the field was very disappointing. So cool that it worked out this time!
The game:
After handicaps i had the better team and the so devasting wiz against lizards, but i had to kick first. The start was just ugly, lost two sauri first turn. My first turn foul didnt even break armor, and lost another saurus in T2. It looked really really bad. But just in time i got a miracle turn two removing three of forrests players. Without that turn the whole game would have went very different i think. After that the game was pretty much straight forward, the plan for H1 was just to prevent the stall, leaving me hopefully two or three turns to score back. With the wiz i was pretty confident that this could work out. Therefor i was in the position to take a risky shot at the ball that worked out perfect. Going in H2 one TD ahead, the ball, wiz and still the better team (i think) it was a very long shot for forrest. His miracle didnt happen, and the reptiles actually took it down!
I think i was favorite in the game, but without my H1T2 i could have easily lost. Overall the luckier team won, but thats blood bowl, isnt it;) Thx for the game, looking forward for a revenge, always a pleasure playing with you.
Ultimate goal reached, so whats next?
Winning the two missing smack titles with liz (vet and leg), and maybe if nuffles wants a major some day - vamps will get their shot first so.”

This was always going to be a hard match for Bubba's return with such a huge TS diff. However Buuba got off to a great start managing to remove 2 saurus from the field early on. The first few turns the 2 lizard teams trade blows and fouls and it looks to be going well for bubba until Stuelle manages 3 cas in 1 turn...
Unflustered bubba rallied his troups and the skinks positioned to try to score t5. However the enemy reptiles had other ideas. Stuelle took a 4+ dodge (without rr) into my cage to pow the ball clean. With the ball surrounded I had to try a 4+ pick up and try to score anyway. However nuffle confirmed which side he would be taking when i failed the rr'd 4+ and the ball scattered into the hands of stuelle's monster str4 skink, who caught on a 6+.
He then managed to evade diving tackle to make the score 1-0.
We were both short on a few key players for the 2nd half, but starting with less this hurt my team more. stuelle managed a relatively easy score for 2-0.
I decided to try for a OTS in a hope of coming back in the 4-5 remaning turns. Although nuffle then mocked me by offering my only 4 pows after i used my rr on the 2db where i needed a push. Somehow i ended up in a position to score the following turn, which would give me 3 turns to try and turnover and score against the now depleted reptile team. All I had to do was dodge away from dt.... Unlike stuelle's cruical dodge of the first half mine failed :P Again in the following turn i had another shot at making the dodge to score leaving me 2 turns..however my skink again failed....
GG stuelle, i'm glad you finally won the xfl lizard that you wanted :) I'm just a bit gutted that nuffle really didn't want me to defend my title.”
