“After what dc had suffered at the hands of the Zoners, we were dreading this game, but we lined up to face the Mummy onslaught. Three of our players were KO’d in the first turn and the Khemri pressed forward, Miyu taunting us by singing our own theme song back at us!

We spread out, trying to avoid as much damage as possible, and sensed an opening. Smacking the ball carrier, we snuck the ball out and stalled out most of the first half. Miyu stuck the boot in, but only succeeded in a KO before Moldova was ruled out by the ref. 1-0. To make matters worse, Finland tried to recapture the ball, only to MNG himself. The next two turns were spent limiting our damage and revelling in lost Finland.

Second half was all about winning the game with as little damage as possible. We scored, and then a blitz helped us corner the ball again. A few silly risks almost set us up for injuries, but they didn’t eventuate. 3-0 the final result.

Well played Miyu, it was looking bad there for a while. Best of luck with the rest of the season. It would have been the perfect game….if Today Tonight hadn’t have niggled….
