A close game which we lost on a coin toss in OT. We played below average in the first half (half asleep) but my opponent had amazing luck to steal the ball and score after I was left exposed a bit with a double skulls

He did a dodge against DT, then a one dice Pow, then 3+ and 4+ dodges vs tackle, 4+ pick up, 3+ throw for a TD. That is, less than 5% chance play there, probably less than 2%.

We scored back despite suffering a blitz to take the score to 1-1 in at half time.

In the second half, he used his superior pace to run though quickly and he scored, leaving me with 4 turns or so to score.

We sent the game to OT and we were received and he forced me to score about 4 turns as we were badly outnumbered (7 cas, and 2 send offs, and only 15 to start the match, and he had 5 cas and 1 send off from 16).

Turn 23, my opponent makes his mistake - he pushes the ball forwards alone and my Wizard is still in play. I zap the Dragon Warrior marking my Thrower so that he can run back and pick up the ball and send it downfield after my blitz.

Ok, just need to make two dodges and it is a 2 dice Blitz with Black Tackle vs a guy with nothing, and I come up snakes and he escapes to get the tying TD and wins the coin toss.

We both had some bad luck today, both of us getting some snakes at some crucial points, but I dare say I had the worst luck today.

Why? Firstly his stealing of the ball for the TD. A massing lucky string of rolls.

We both rolled double skulls and snakes, but only mine was on a TD stopping/scoring play.

He also had amazing cas dice, including 3 cas fouls from 6 fouls, we only got 1 cas from our 6 fouls. Whilst we did more RIPs, a cas is a cas - a player off the pitch.

Anyway, my opponent played well today so I don't begrudge him his victory, just annoyed with the dice :P”
