“Major reversal of last match's luck difference...and it showed!

Much like last match, it's tough to beat 60+% luck. Casualties were gentle on all sides with only BH, but a early and random BH on his +AG Tackle Blitzer was very key to the victory. In fact, today was Badly Hurt and Quick Snap day...all 7 cas were BH, 3 of 4 kickoffs Quick Snap.

First half we managed a key takeaway with Greased Lightning performing a critical Dauntless takedown on the ball carrier right before being taken out of the match by the troll...Ratbox eventually recovered after several very favorable SideStep scatters of the ball and a key dodge failure by the last remaining AG4 orc.

The first touchdown was a rather insanely risky attempt to 1) crowdpush the Tackle Blitzer and 2) score with the rookie GR...which managed to work after an initial handoff pooching.

Second half was a fairly standard plodding orc cage, with my one chance to take down the Blockless ball carrying lineorc at -2bD ended in a skull after rerolling a first skull. In an novel reversal, the orcs then caging around the few remaining rats rather than their own ball -carrier, who was then free to hand off to an available Blitzer for the touchdown.

The final drive of the match decided rat win vs draw, with a unfavorable kick forcing a defensive stall rather than touchdown attempt, but in the end the AG4 linerat Whimper (who deserved MVP for his play this match, but didn't get it) managed to Dodge-Blitz Greased Weasel free to receive the handoff and scamper far enough into Orc territory to make a second touchdown impossible.
