“I pwned the dice first half, with two takeaways for touchdown, and a couple of casualties to boot (actually, no boot was involved)! The second takeaway involved Ratbox forced dangerously close to the sidelines (especially when facing a team like Frenzeh!), but allowed for a punt that put the ball far out of dwarven reach, but just close enough for Greased Weasel to snatch it up and cross the end zone as time expired on the half.

Second half started with a paltry attempt to take out a couple of dwarves at the LOS, but when Flinch's foul got caught it turned into a slower drive down the sidelines that eventually the rats broke free of and scored.

With the score 3-0 and only four turns left, the Ratbox decided not to capitalize on a baubled handoff due to the danger of sidelining, and the lack of any apothecary to heal injured or killed rats this late in the match. Ratbox withdrew and exchanged a few harmless blocks with a few longbeards mid-pitch while the dwarven cage advanced along the sidelines unopposed.

In the final moments of the match, all rookies lined up on the LOS hoping for a chance at glory...and Cower came up with a deft hit that sent a longbeard right off! Officials quickly decided this was the best play of the match and awarded him MVP afterward.

A fun match, you know these rats are starting to get used to having to face dwarves every game!
