A true Nuffling on many fronts: fouls, block dice, ball handling, Really Stupid rolls, GFI, dodges... (though, the last two were directly proportional to how key the roll was. Random or useless dodges and GFI mostly suceeded...the ones that might have made a real difference pooched with RR inevitably...as the score demonstrates)

My opponent made seemingly endless POWs...especially on 1 die blocks. Due to that performance, there really wasn't much in the way of ball handling or GFI he had to make, but he did make all but one pass (why it wasn't 0-3 for the final score...)

However...

I ACED MY KO ROLLS AND NO ONE CAN EVER TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME!!!!

5 Ko's against...all came back the first try. Also, the injury dice were rather harsher on the opposition than me (his apoth failed on the only permanent of the game). That, combined with no FF drop and maximum winnings (for a loser) - not to mention a non-aging skill for one of my Claw beasties, made this game overall quite profitable and one of those losses that almost feels like a win. Or at least a draw...

Also...just enough cash for Morg next match...hmmm....

#6 Schoenburger – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#6 Schoenburger – Smashed Hip (-MA)
Although every one of CorporateSlave's comments is true, I will note that

1) Our team had 12 players with block; the opposing team had 3.
2) Our team had 5 players with guard; the opponents had 1.
3) As a direct result of 1) and 2), we threw more than twice as many blocks; and our blocks were usually against players who didn't have block (and who were often wearing less armour than our guys).

Was I luckier? Yes, absolutely, but I'm not sure I needed to be. Barring serious injury luck, which wasn't with the chaos team this day, I suspect the game would have gone the same way even if the chaos guys hadn't kept leaving the ball around for us to gather.
