“A largely predictable chaos type match...but one play truly deserves to be noted.

Confronted with a heavy chaos cage and low on players, STS Blitzer Giant decided to go for broke! Lying prone on the pitch in front of a lumbering chaos warrior, he waited for just the right moment...

Giant sprung to his feet, and darted in between a tiny gap in the chaos line. While his teammates tried desperately to occupy the chaos to either side, he deftly dodged into a triangle of tackle zones, to smash surprised Slasher right in the face! Slasher went limp and the ball bounced free. Giant then turned to see the ball, lying next to the hulking troll and the chaos warrior he had just dodged past. Giant dashed forward, again evading the grasp of the two chaos players trying to tackle him, and snagged the ball from right under their noses! With the ball in his hands, but now completely surrounded, Giant saw a flash of daylight behind him and turned to make a break for the open pitch! The crowd went wild!

However...the flash had not been daylight. It was simply Kill-Gore trout the stupid troll, who had picked up a shiny metal breastplate that was laying on the ground from earlier in the match. Annoyed and confused by all the shouting, he had decided to blot the noise out and investigate the interesting Shiny Thing at his feet. He had picked it up, and the sunlight glinted off of it, catching Giant's attention.

When Giant turned to run into what he thought was a small opening in the chaos cage, he instead sprinted face first into a metal plate...he slammed into it hard...the ball bounced free, and he fell to the ground. Many an STS fan's hat had its lid punched through this day.

SlaughterHouse wasted no time - KilJoy Smashdasher picked up the ball, and the rest of the team surrounded Giant...while one of the team's many Dirty Players jogged up to put in the boot...

Giant did regain consciousness in time to attempt to break away and score a winning touchdown later in the match, but this time he again made the mistake of turning into the light...and caught a Lightning Bolt right in the face. Giant again went down for the count, and in the end SlaughterHouse was able to recover the ball and pass it to Paxton for a last second touchdown.
