The orcs decided to try out a rematch against an another Skaven team. This one sure gave the Silverskulls a run for their money.

Once more the Silverskulls lost the opening toss and the Pilgrims got to set up their attack. Their luck was incredible - they didn't seem to fail a single block. Furthermore, their Rat Ogre, Graksha, managed to badly hurt a BoB. That put a serious dent in the orcs self confidence.

The Pilgrim Gutter Runner ran quickly with the ball and got near the goal line. He was however a bit too eager and was blitzed down. The ball stopped right there and it never moved from there. The orcs swarmed the immediate area surrounding the ball, but the rats got to do the same. In addition, the rats seemed to get pretty darn mad. They immediately knocked out the Graumroth troll and a lineman, thus handicapping the orcish team even more.

Fierce fighting for the ball ensued as both teams tried to grab it. The Grey Pilgrims had the upper hand and were able to pick up the ball twice. On the second time however, the ball scattered to the Rat Ogre. One turn remained on the clock. The orcs managed to put enough players near the Rat Ogre so that the surrounding rats couldn't block them all away. So Graksha decided to blitz, he didn't stand there and roar, but ferociously charged a BoB. Nevertheless, he wasn't able to bring the BoB down in a single block and was forced to attack twice. He stunned the BoB, but was left too far from the goal line to score. Thus the orcs went back to the dugouts happy that the score was still 0-0.

The second half was all about the orcs. The kickoff didn't scatter too far and the orcs were able to build a cage quickly. In spite of a perfect defense by the Pilgrims, the orcs plowed the way clear and even brought down Graksha, the Rat Ogre. Whopee had entered the filed because of player shortage and decided to make himself useful, he ran next to the big hunk of meat and kicked him so hard, that Graksha was sent back to the KO box.

But it was still not over. The orcs started a game of attrition as the Pilgrims were very good at stopping the orcs at their tracks. Slowly but steadily the orcs moved forward and finally a gap opened in the Pilgrims defence. The Silverskulls took good use of it and moved the ball up the field. The Pilgrims tried to take the ball carrier down, but all attempts failed.

Thus the orcs scored a very satisfying winning touchdown near the end of the second half. That was also the only touchdown of the match, so the Graumroth Silverskulls went home with a lucky but well deserved victory.

Thanks to my opponent for the game!
