Well a snake roll and unfortunate scatter cost me the game.

First half, we use the fireball and don't knock a key mummy down, but despite my opponent's taunts that his ball carrier was safe, we find a relatively easy 2 dice blitz on his ball carrier.

We get the steal, and stall out the half with no Apoth (early RIP foul). We lost 2 players to BH, and had 3 players KO.

Half time came, and we got 0 from 3 KO back. Maybe we should have scored on T7, oh well.

A short kick and with only 8 players, I went for a pass with my AG5 Accurate Legend, and he fumbles the ball... and it scatters towards my opponent. Whilst I catch the ball with an adjacent player, he is able to blitz him and get another nice scatter and pick up the ball.

My team disappears under a weight of fouls unspotted by the referree and my opponent makes a T16 score on a GFI with no RR.

Overtime, we are kicking, and we have 7 players, which he reduces ot 5 on his turn.

Our remaining players get KO and BH and 1 is killed by a foul when the game was already well and truly won.

We played a good game to steal the ball and stall it out, and we also slowed him down in the second half to a last turn 2+ score with no RR, but that snakes (and a fair few others leaving us with 48% luck until T24) cost us the game.”
