This was an unfortunate game that went over the edge after one of our players (Bolar) got the order from the coach to actually foul the opponent, a deed rarely performed in our matches and especially not against other wood elf teams. Bolar obeyed and so came the grinding of teeth into the match.

It was not much later that it started to rain down on us heavily, pouring from the skies. Every player knows this to be a very bad omen. Our next drive was the crucial one, and while the coaches were still debating with eachother and the referree over the foul, one by one Warpstars remaining players were knocked out.

This all happened so quickly that within a turn Floriandar found himself the sole member of his own team on the pitch. He bravely ran forward towards Marquez the ball carrier, but even at his incredible pace it would still take him at least two runs.

Next thing, the wind stopped blowing. The rain poured down and the crowds cheers and cries died down. The pace of the game diminished to a slow motion, almost a halt.

A flash of lightning lit the field brightly as people saw Virano dashing towards Floriandar to intercept him. Floriandar turned and did see him coming but slipped as he was trying to dodge away. Virano hit him right on the head.

In silence, Floriandars body fell to the ground and as it smacked lifeless into the wet green grass, a giant thunderclap shook the stadium. Play was halted immediately. All wood elfs left the pitch and the whole of the 68000 fans chanted a goodbye to their heroe who lay alone on the pitch he had lived on.

May thy paths be green and the breeze on thy back

Perox, head coach of A Few Good Men:
"The hour of demise often comes in dramatic ways. We are sorry for the game to evolve in this way, and I still do not understand my own reasons for the way we played this one. I think this hour was foretold by the ancestors, and we regret that we have played such a sad part in it."
