Despite having to face only 10 of the Springfield stunties due to them being in a rebuilding process, the Boots were wary of the damage even a small number of Dorfs could do, having been on the end of a 3-0 hiding from another team of bearded-ones only a few matches ago.

The Vamps once again took a brutal pounding up front, with the Brewing Company's multi-blocking troll-slayers dishing out some serious pain on the LOS. However, Nuffle saw fit to give his blessing to the Boots' vampires, who pulled off a series of improbable plays, including multiple succesful hypno-gazes to get at Springfield's ball-carrier, and a stunning interception whilst in a TZ by Romulus Faust, who then scampered away for the third TD.

The tiny contingent of Boots fans tucked away in the upper echelons of the Brewing Company's stadium went wild at the final whilstle after their team secured their biggest victory to date.
