#1 Hult – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#1 Hult – Smashed Knee (NI)
#7 Hubert – Dead (RIP)
#9 Jolanda – Dead (RIP)
This was an utterly bruising encounter between two teams who threw everything and the kitchen sink at each other. Coach Jensen showed some real kahunas by challenging up 20 TS, and his crazy Norse boys put on a sterling display, hanging in for what was shaping up to be a draw, before a late steal by the Boots allowed them to wrap the game up 2-0.

The Vamps once again paid for their win in blood. Time To Man Up got the ref in the first half and wisely stuck their size elevens in at every possible opportunity. Coach Smyth stupidly sent on the medic to try and save Hubert, who had just made the completion he needed to add a basic skill to his game. The coach should've realized the thrall wasn't worth it however, as the latter had just almost killed himself making a needless dodge. But our pitch side reporter tells us that the Boots' back-room staff went behind the back of their head coach, and instead of saving Hubert the medic made sure to finish him off with a well-concealed bite to the neck.

It was a sequence of events the Boots would regret, as they lost two of their best thralls permanently in the second half. Straight after the kick-off Marquis Ash realized he had forgotten to drink his gator-slayed at half-time and took a lethal energy-boosting drink from Jolanda. Shortly afterwards Hult suffered a smashed hand as he tried to sack the opposition ball-carrier, leading to him being retired after full-time.

Despite these painful setbacks, mid-way through the half Man Up's catcher Che 'the fruit' found himself exposed alone in the Boots' half, and was swiftly sacked, after which Marquis Ash, now fully pumped up on thrall-juice, recovered the ball and ran in for his second score of the match to seal the win.

Cheers to coach Jensen for a tough game and best of luck to your boys in future.
