“This was one of the most fun games I've played for a while! Both coaches knew a win would likely secure promotion, although the orcs would be doing so by hoping to sneak up in third place. 3 CAS each caused in the first couple of turns (Phew Troll regen!) showed what the game would be like. Although the replay's borked due to reload, the first half was full of back and forth, with the orcs popping the ball repeatedly (after making 4+3+ dodges to provide assits and other such hilarity) but unable to secure it. The elves finally run it in over the line for 1-0 in T8. Orcs fumble the TTM attempt, but goblin doesn't get hurt. Again, phew!

Second half begins, the crazy AV rolls of the first few turns, quiet for the end of the first half, kicked into gear midway through the second again. Some pressure from the DEs with their few remaining players force the orcs to make a risky pass and double GFI to score T14. An easy stall was on for the draw, but this was no use to the orcs, and decent play from the DE had stopped the orcs scoring in 4 turns as they'd have liked.

Of note, the elves had burned their rerolls due to some unlucky dice at the start of the half, so I figured the win was still on. Just had to hope the elves failed the pickup roll (great plan, eh?)!

Kickoff, the elf receivers surge forward, the AG5 lino moves towards the ball... and makes the pickup. Curses, shoulda stalled, yada yada. Then Nuffle smiles on the Greenskins again, and the pass is fumbled! Orcs surround ball, blitz marker away. The DE again mount a decent defense, forcing another pickup/pass/catch/double GFI T16 to sneak out the win, and possible promotion.
